Most people don't realize that Kayne West made three different versions of "Flashing Lights." Although neither version are as memorable as watching Rita G sexily stomp her way to tied up Kayne West, these versions does show how visual Hip Hop videos can become if more artists take chance.

Flasback Video: Brand New Funk-DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince
I'm a Will Smith fan, always have been, always will be. Ever since I heard the original 12" version of "Girls Ain't Nothin But Trouble" (that's pre-video version kids) using the theme song from "I Dream of Jeanie", I was hooked by Will's rhyming and Jazzy Jeff's DJing skills. The thing about Will and Jeff is that they were authentic. They didn't try to be hard as LL or poltical Public Enemy or gangsta like NWA, they were just regular guys talking about regular things. This authenticity followed Smith to Hollywood and Jeff back to Philly where his Touch of Soul production studio would give a spotlight to future artists like The Roots and Jill Scott. The best thing about Will and Jeff now and then is that they're still friends, which is almost unheard of in hip hop unless your Chuck D and Flavor Flav. --Kevin Lockett
