Cinematic Flava: Spike Lee's Miracle at St. Anna Trailer

After Spike Lee criticized Clint Eastwood for not having any Afrcian American soliders in his World War II films "Flags of Our Father" and "Letters from Iwo Jima", Lee decided to create his own film spotlighting the contributions and sacrafices made by Blacks and Latinos in WWII called "Miracle at St. Anna".

The story takes place in the Tuscan village of Sant’Anna di Stazzema, where on On Aug. 12, 1944, a massacre took place where a Nazi battalion gunned down 560 men, women and children.
