New Flava: Heavy D- Long Distance Girlfriend , Mos Def and More

Heavy D was recently on Jamie Foxx's show on Sirius Radio talking about his new album Vibes.

If you are still looking for the polka dotted "Overweight Lover"with the new jack beats, those days are over. Instead, The Hevster has created an album based on his Jamacian roots.

The first single off of the album "Vibes" is the breezy reggae single "Long Distance Girlfriend" which is based on Heavy D's father who would come to America to work then come back home to Jamacia to see Hev's mom.

In fact, "Vibes" is chuck full upbeat and slow Jamacian music that Heavy D has always dabbled with in the past, but now has embraced in full rasta glory.
